- We attended the closing reception last week of an art exhibit at BYU called Percept by Brian Christensen and a collegue of his, Brent Barson. We've always known Brian was an intellectual, as well as, a very creative sculptor. We were really impressed with the way they combined physical artwork with words and images in light to create their sculptures. It was all done with precision. Good job, Brian.
This one of the 3 heads had a variety of projected images continually changing over the faces. The one above was our favorite.
This was inspired by a method, invented by Leonardo DaVinci, of making hidden code by reflecting it off the surface of a cylindar. Once again the projections were always changing...pretty cool to watch.

SO cool! We tried to get into the exhibit too but missed it. We went on a Saturday and it wasn't open. Darn! Were there two artists on the exhibit? I understand that another guy in our ward (lives across the street from Dalleys) did the exhibit with Brian. He's a great guy too. We really wanted to see the exhibit.
